The "Era Inżyniera. Expansion of the development potential of the Poznań University of Technology” implemented under POKL 4.1.1
The aim of the project is to present the positive results of the project financed by the European Social Fund and to show its pioneering nature and comprehensive achievements in the field of adapting higher education to the needs of the economy. It was possible, inter alia, by organizing student internships and apprenticeships in 142 companies. Thanks to them, 800 students of the Poznań University of Technology were able to combine the knowledge obtained at the University with practice, and gain the first valuable professional experience on the demanding labor market. For the purposes of the project, an innovative e-recruitment platform was created, which acts as a bridge between the employer and the student. Students of the Poznań University of Technology also benefited from workshops to improve soft skills and specialist training to equip them with skills so much appreciated by employers.

The subject of the conference concerns the review of global trends in modern techniques and technologies related to the production of flying objects and the issues of modern air transport. The conference was a forum for cooperation between the world of science and innovation and the practical implementation of results in the aviation industry

Science and Technology Conference: Science for Defense. Joint Action of Polish Science for National Defense
The disturbing events of recent years lead to deeper reflection on the importance of the security of our homeland. The key is to undertake and intensify activities aimed at tightening the cooperation of scientific and research units with industrial partners, cooperation focused on the needs of the country's defense. The aim of the conference "Science for defense" is to present the current possibilities of applying modern technical thought, developed in scientific units in the service of national security. I believe that by gathering in one place teams whose experience and current achievements prove that we are able to propose innovative solutions in the country, competitive with global solutions, while stimulating the scientific and industrial community to cooperate more closely. This meeting will enable a substantive discussion that will allow to develop opinions on the solutions for which our environment is prepared today.

Scientific conference on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the operation of F-16 aircraft and the Central Aviation Day Celebrations
The Poznań - Aviation for Defense conference is part of the Central Military Aviation Festival and the 10th anniversary of the F-16 aircraft operation. It is also an element of reference to the aviation traditions that were born here in Greater Poland nearly 100 years ago. The conference is also a summary of the University's many years of efforts to establish and launch faculties and specializations related to aviation. It is also a continuation of the Science for Defense conference organized by the Poznań University of Technology in 2015. We also want to mention the history and the first steps of aviation in Poland, pointing to the significant participation of Wielkopolska and Wielkopolska people.

Scientific and Technical Conference: Our Century. Science for defense
2018 is a special year, due to the anniversaries of historical events, the importance of which cannot be overestimated, and the most important of which is the regaining of Independence by the Polish State. One of the elements of celebrating this unique Jubilee for Poles, which is also accompanied by the Jubilee of the 100th anniversary of our University, is the conference "Our century. Science for Defense ”organized by the Poznań University of Technology in cooperation with the 31st Tactical Air Base. I am convinced that it will be an excellent opportunity to present modern technical thought in the context of its use in the service of national security. The gathering of representatives of science, military and industry in one place will enable the exchange of experiences and opinions on the competitiveness of Polish technological solutions on the international market, and will also contribute to closer cooperation between various fields of science and economy sectors.

The disturbing events of recent years lead to deeper reflection on the importance of the security of our homeland. It becomes of key importance to undertake and intensify activities aimed at tightening the cooperation of scientific and research units with industrial partners, cooperation aimed at the needs of national defense as well as environmental protection. The aim of the conference "Science for defense and the environment" is to present the current possibilities of applying modern technical thought, created in scientific institutions in the service of generally understood security. I believe that by gathering in one place teams whose experience and current achievements prove that we are able to propose innovative solutions in the country, competitive with global solutions, while stimulating the scientific and industrial community to cooperate more closely. This meeting will enable a substantive discussion that will allow us to develop opinions on the solutions our environment is prepared for today.
